Hello I’m Nicole, welcome to my blog! A space filled with stories of adventure, things I’ve leaned while traveling, photos and some random musings on life.

There is a quote by Mark Twain about being disappointed more by the things you didn’t do, rather than the things you did, and it’s so absolutely true! This credo for life has formed who I am and where I sit today, typing this as I look out over Waikiki Beach.

Back in 2005, I decided I wanted to become a Playboy Playmate so I snapped a few selfies and wrote a letter to the editor. Six months later I was flown to Los Angeles to meet Hef and test shoot at Playboy Studios. My issue hit newsstands a few months later and I began walking red carpets at Hollywood events. I did promotional appearances, traveled and partied at the Mansion. What a unique and thrilling time!

Over the next few years I took several on-camera classes and loved it! I’d always enjoyed performing and being in the spotlight, so I decided to set my sights on an acting career. I booked a few indie films & commercials, got an agent and joined the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA). I spent many a day networking and pretending to be someone else for the roles I played.

Then in 2014 I would find a new direction for my life. I was up for a big movie role and was flown 1st class to meet with the film producers. I was beyond excited! Unfortunately the following day I learned I’d lost the part to someone younger… So flying home that night in coach (whomp whomp) on Delta Air Lines, I was teary eyed and reconsidering the direction of my life. As I flipped through the Sky Magazine I saw an article about Delta’s flight attendant training center. Immediately I felt that spark - this would be my new pursuit!

I interviewed with Delta in early 2015, and began training. The glamorous aspect of travel has always appealed to me and I saw this as a way to explore the world while simply being myself.

Now, I have my wings and an incredibly flexible schedule that allows me to see the world both while on the clock and off. I’ve had some incredible adventures. Some of these trips have been life-changing and some life-lessons.

So thanks for visiting and getting to know me! And for anyone contemplating an excursion - big or small - I hope to inspire you to take the leap and GO!
